Students from the school districts of Jenkintown, Methacton, Spring-Ford, Springfield Township, Upper Dublin, and Wissahickon, as well as Ancillae-Assumpta Academy and St. Hilary of Poitiers showed off their computer skills at the annual Pennsylvania Media and Design Competition held virtually in April. MCIU organizes and hosts judging for the regional competition which highlights Pennsylvania middle school and high school students’ application skills, creativity, and knowledge.

Categories include 3D Design, Animation, Digital Movie, Graphic Design and Logo, Programming, and Web Page Design.  This year, 26 middle school students submitted 17 projects.  For high school, there were 28 students submitting 20 projects.  First place winners in each category advance to the state competition which will also be held virtually this year.
