On Tuesday, April 23rd, the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) hosted the STEELS Expo at Upper Merion Area High School. This MCIU-led event centered on the introduction of the new STEELS science standards, bringing together educators from across the region for a day dedicated to exploration and professional enrichment.

The expo featured a series of hands-on, interactive sessions that effectively showcased the practical application of the STEELS standards. The lively demonstrations and engaging experiments provided a dynamic learning environment, making it easier for attendees to visualize how these standards will be integrated into their teaching. The positive atmosphere and the practical, hands-on learning approach ensured the day was not only informative but also enjoyable for all involved.

We are proud of the role our team played in rolling out these new standards, which promise to significantly enhance science education in our schools.
