What is the Children’s Hearing center?
The Children’s Hearing Center is a new durable medical goods provider. The Center is housed in the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit and is staffed by Audiologists, Jessica Loson, AuD and Sarah Zavala, AuD.
Services
The Children’s Hearing Center will dispense the following equipment: hearing aids and direct microphone (formerly FM) systems, earmolds, and batteries. In addition, hearing aids and direct microphone systems will be repaired through the Center.
Who We Serve
Children between the ages of birth and 21 years with Keystone First insurance can utilize the services at Children’s Hearing Center. Children living in any county in Pennsylvania can schedule an appointment at the Center.
Hours of Operation
The office is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Appointments will need to be scheduled for earmold impressions and equipment dispensing. No appointments are necessary for repair drop-offs and pick-ups, batteries, and earmold(s); however please contact the office prior to coming in. Please be advised that the Intermediate Unit is closed on many school holidays/breaks. Please check the Intermediate Unit website (www.mciu.org) for closures.
