On May 5, 2021, Representative Tracy Pennycuick arranged a meeting at the Capitol between school leaders and House leadership/members and two lobbyists from the Commonwealth Foundation to discuss meaningful charter reform. Present at the meeting from our schools was Superintendent Frank Gallagher (Souderton) and his business manager Brian Pawling, Board VP Donna Scheuren and board member Nick Braccia, and Superintendent Chris Dormer (Norristown) and Tina Viletto (MCIU). Legislators included Reps. Pennycuick (R-Montgomery), Jesse Topper (R-Bedford), Martina White (R-Bucks), Joe Ciresi (D- Montgomery), Wendy Thomas (R-Bucks), Shelby Labs (R-Bucks) and Perry Stambaugh (R-Perry).
