In addition to working with social media and developing publications, we provide a variety of services to programs throughout the IU.
The Office of Community and Government Relations shares stories that highlight MCIU’s new and current initiatives, educational activities, awards and other accomplishments. The office aims to generate exposure for key events, educational initiatives and the exciting work being done in Montgomery County classrooms every day. During an emergency situation, developing and sharing information with key audiences is a priority. We use a variety of tools, including the MCIU website, the School Messenger System, social media and email.
Our team manages advertising and produces promotional content for programs-and-service launches, awards programs, summits, professional learning, keynote speakers, and collaborations with school districts, PDE, and other Intermediate Units.
Digital Assets and Social Media
The Office of Community and Government Relations manages MCIU’s web and social-media presence, including mciu.org, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. In addition, we produce marketing materials for program-and-service launches, professional learning events, awards programs and for any student and staff highlight or accomplishment. Our team also assists in the preparation and development of presentations for IU initiatives, workshops, meetings, and trainings for events held at MCIU and throughout the county.
