The MCIU Early Learning programs work with several organizations in the community that provide additional resources and services to families residing in Montgomery County. These agencies provide a wide range of services, products, experiences, and opportunities to qualifying families.

The Salvation Army provides numerous supports in an effort to combat poverty. Services include crisis support, housing stability assistance, utility assistance, food assistance, job training, summer camps, Toys for Tots, and after-school programs. Their Pottstown building also has a homeless shelter for individuals or families needing emergency assistance.

Your Way Home is dedicated to improving housing stability, economic security, and the overall health of families and individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. They provide rental assistance, utility assistance, housing counseling services, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing for qualifying families. If you are experiencing difficulties with housing or utility payments, call 211 to be directly linked to a representative.

WIC provides nutrition education to help participants and their families learn how to choose nutritious foods to improve help. Services include nutrition counseling, nutrition goal setting, health monitoring, and additional financial support for healthy foods to qualifying families. Manna on Main Street provides numerous services to families in Montgomery County in the fight to end hunger. They provide an open food pantry and soup kitchen at their Lansdale location, along with a full educational training program for interested adults seeking employment in the culinary industry. Maternity Care Coalition works to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families, and enhance school readiness for children aged zero (0) to three (3) years. The Greater Philadelphia Area YMCA is a group of many different YMCA locations aimed at providing families access to fitness, promoting ongoing health, and providing opportunities for family fun.
