The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) is a regional educational service agency that provides dynamic, visionary leadership and effective, efficient services for constituent school districts, schools, and students. Our highly qualified employees are based in various locations across the county – this includes 22 public school districts and over 100 non-public, charter, and vocational/technical schools.
Our highly qualified MCIU employees collaborate and provide premier educational services to the students of Montgomery County. These include full-time, part-time, substitute and seasonal staff who serve our school communities in various essential roles ranging from the direct education and care of our students to indirect support for staff and schools.
