Trauma Training 101

The PREPaRE Workshop Series includes two specialized trainings:

• Workshop 1: Comprehensive School Safety Planning – Prevention Through Recovery Designed for all school personnel, this session outlines how to build and maintain a school crisis team, develop effective safety plans, and promote crisis prevention and preparedness through collaboration with community partners.
• Workshop 2: Mental Health Crisis Intervention – Responding to an Acute Traumatic Stressor in Schools.  Intended for school-based mental health staff and crisis response providers, this training focuses on responding to trauma after a crisis, including psychological first aid, trauma evaluation, and recovery strategies.
