Pathways to Empowerment

What is Pathways to Empowerment?

Pathways to Empowerment is a program for students with behavior dysregulation at the secondary level (grades 8 through 12). This program is heavily focused on identifying career pathways, improving communication skills and developing behaviors that are conducive to post school outcomes. This program includes a School Counselor who will focus primarily on the mental health needs of all students, along with a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), that will support the teacher in the classroom with any behavior challenges that are presented. Students will also receive work-based learning with exposure to a wide array of opportunities once their high school diploma is achieved.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to empower students within the Pathways to Empowerment program to become resilient, resourceful, and contributing members of society. Through comprehensive trauma-informed care, mentorship, and vocational opportunities grounded in our PBIS system PATHS (Positivity, Accountability, Teamwork, Honesty, and Self-Discipline) we strive to equip students with essential skills to regulate their emotions effectively. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive network that guides students in making informed, healthy decisions, paving the way for a brighter future and instilling a commitment to contributing positively to the community and society at large.
