Empowering Student Advocacy in Educational Policy!

A unique opportunity for students to shape the future of education! Voices for Education is where students come together to gain leadership skills, learn effective advocacy, and influence educational policies that impact their lives.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Student Leadership Development: Enhance your skills to become an influential leader in education.
  • Advocacy Training: Learn how to navigate legislative processes and craft persuasive policy arguments.
  • Hands-On Experience: Participate in role-playing, legislative simulations, and real-world meetings with lawmakers.
  • Inquiry & Action Research: Work on projects addressing key education issues, backed by data and research.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with peers and community members to drive meaningful change.
Participation

Open to high school students (grades 9-12) with an interest in leadership, advocacy, or policy.

School Advisor/Contact:

Schools must designate an advisor to support student participation and coordinate with the program.

Commitment:

Students and advisor should plan to attend all virtual and in-person sessions, including a year-end trip to Harrisburg.
